It’s officially summer. Q2 is now over. We are halfway through 2023.
And here in the US, the July 4th holiday falls on a Tuesday.
You know what that means?
Friends, it’s pretty certain that very little actual work is getting done this coming week.
Whether you are enjoying an EXTRA long weekend or you are planning some vacation time around this holiday or simply getting a random Tuesday off work, you deserve to recharge.
Do something good. Do something fun. Do something for yourself.
Go for a walk. Go for a bike ride. Get some ice cream.
Get yourself to the beach. Or the mountains. Or the park.
Put the phone down. Turn off those notifications. Take a nap.
Watch some fireworks. Listen to some music. Grill some burgers.
Read a book. Go to the movies. Hang out with family and friends.
Be kind to yourself. Be kind to others. Be grateful for what you have.
Let your foot off the gas a little. Nothing important is likely to get done this week.
This intro is your reminder — it’s okay.
XOXO
Dave
