No big commentary this week. Just a few rants and observations...Here are a few quick things I need to get off my chest:-Can someone please tell me: how is it possible that a Starbucks gets my mobile order wrong? More than once?? -Show me a company that is hiring a "Chief of Staff," and I will show you a company that is afraid to admit that they really need a new CEO...and if they have less than $20mil in revenues, probably won't be around in 5 years...-Psst..."Ghosting" someone in any business capacity is perhaps the quickest way to tip off that there is major dysfunction in your organization. Plus it makes you look like you are in middle school....pass it along...-Hey automakers: when programming autonomous vehicles to determine ethical priorities in collision avoidance, I am good with putting the people walking the streets wearing AirPods and filming LinkedIn videos at the bottom....-Why is "Skip Intro" something I even need to click when I am streaming a series? After episode #1 I am so over it....and I thought you knew me, Netflix...-I am convinced that the biggest epidemic we are facing with Gen Z is that they don't know how to turn off a light switch....-Almost two years later, I can confirm that the age of the Monster Stroller is still going strong...-Perhaps we all can take some comfort when hearing that 60 is the new 40, but in business, it kinda seems like 40 is becoming the new 60.....-Ok, wearing-sneakers-with-suits fad, I see you but it is more likely I could pull off liking kombucha before I pull you off....-I would definitely binge watch a "Family Matters" reboot where Mike Tyson played all of the characters...Got any good rants, observations or pet peeves?
