Busy week so a little change of pace this issue.I had a number of things on my plate this week, including writing a semi-original article on LinkedIn as well as putting a lot of time and energy into scheduling and recording a BUNCH of FoD podcasts for your listening pleasure (new ones still to be edited and published). The process of relaunching the podcast has provided an excellent excuse to check in and reconnect with Friends and other colleagues from my network as everyone has hit the pause button on their daily routines over the past few weeks. As a result, this combined with the constant weight, uh....I mean, joys of full time family togetherness has honestly left me with a lot less of bandwidth to put into the preamble this week, Friends. But have no fear -- we do have a vault of evergreen material to lean on in times like these. If you are new to the newsletter or are interested in walking down memory lane while you self-quarantine, I invite you to check out a few these popular and still very relevant past intros:Thoughts on empathy (which I talk about a lot along the way)On musicOn accountability and frustrationOn the power of deep and simpleOn being radically candidOn the life threatening perils of finding yourself caught in a mosh pitRealizing that you are a Freight Train and embracing the journeyOn exploring mindfulnessPlease keep an eye out in this space and "on the socials" for announcements of upcoming editions of the Friends of Dave podcast. There are some very interesting guests with compelling backstories lined up -- I know this crowd will absolutely love them. In the meantime, I hope you and your families remain safe and healthy in the coming weeks. Check out the links below -- if you blew through this intro, definitely worth putting the time into the Last Word (which is a longer read). Have a good weekend everyone.XOXODave
