This is the 2017 roundup to end all roundups...Really.Well we made it through another year, Friends of Dave. As I analyzed the over 400 or so articles that were curated for you in this newsletter over the past 52 weeks, it's clear that we covered a lot of ground. It was interesting to see common themes like artificial intelligence, FinTech revolution, the downside of social media, and just about anything data driven consistently make appearances in the newsletter throughout the year. We had our fair share of both provocative and quirky, non-business related stuff that seemed to grab your attention too. I did make a conscious decision to try to create a relatively politics free zone for us -- which was harder than it may have seemed in such a politically charged year like we just had. And hopefully you also found my preambles and occasional rants in the intro to be entertaining as well.In 2018 you can expect more of the same from this newsletter. Please keep the feedback and article submissions coming. They are both very much welcomed and appreciated. In the meantime, I took a look at the stats from 2017, and here is a round up of the 19 articles you, Friends of Dave, clicked on most during the year. They are not necessarily the best or most thought provoking, but are the ones you took the time to open. I think that you will find the list interesting and entertaining -- and in case you missed any of these, know that fellow Friends of Dave seemed to like them. So there's added peer pressure to not be one of those people who are out of the loop....just sayin'....Have a happy and safe New Year my friends. I am truly hoping that 2018 is a prosperous one for each one of you. Enjoy!XOXODave
