The intro is a lot like Forrest Gump....Our 10 year old son watched Forrest Gump for the first time a week ago -- not sure why it was such a pressing thing for him to do so, but he enjoyed it. I was surprised by how much he got the real message behind it. He said he liked the ping pong playing too.He also appreciated the classic line "Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get."That's sort of like this preamble of this newsletter every week. It's like a box of chocolates. So in the spirit of that, I know it was a short week for most of us here in the US, but it was a pretty busy one on this end. As a result, no great words of wisdom or entertaining story from me in the intro this week, Friends. If you are looking for something, perhaps use this as a reason to go re-watch Forrest Gump. I'm sure you will see it from a different perspective watching it after many years like I did. Or check out the intro from last week (it was actually more than I typically write before a long weekend) or perhaps one from this week back a few years ago.In the meantime, I promise you that the articles this week do not disappoint. Check them out and enjoy. Better yet...share them with a friend and get them to subscribe to the newsletter! We could always use more FoDs in the house!Have a good and safe one.XOXODave
